Meemure Sri Lanka
Meemure village is really awesome natural place located near the border between Kandy District and Matale District in the Knuckles Mountain Range. Population of Meemure is about 400. You can find Lakegala Mountain near to the meemure village. Meemure also considered as the place where King Ravana lifted the Dhadu Monara. Peoples of the village hang on several main crops including pepper, cardamom, vegetable, paddy and ginger. Meemure village owns an excellent natural beauty. It is ironic with natural Beauty and Traditional Sri Lankan styles.

How to Reach Meemure
Going to Meemure is not an easy but you will not confused about routes because there are only one way to reach Meemure It is nearly 173km from Colombo and 63km from Kandy
Colombo –> Kandy –> via Kandy mahiyanganaya road –> Hunnasgiriya –> Loolwatte –> Turn to Meemure

It’s better to have a four wheel drive vehicle to enjoy the trip because it is a tiny difficult road. But we could see a dolphin van and a Toyota aqua car has come to the place in some how J
Please do not think to reach the place by bus because there are no transport facility from Loolwatta to Meemure
What you can do there
You can Hike to Lakegala Mountain, camp, swim in the best natural pool in Sri Lanka. One advice please be care about leeches
